The Dear School of Creative and Performing Arts proudly presents its annual Christmas Gala, signaling the start of the holiday season. This cherished tradition graces the stage nine times over three days, attracting a multitude of schoolchildren to the campus for daytime performances.

The Christmas Gala stands as a cornerstone of experiential learning for our students, offering them valuable hands-on experience across all facets of production, set construction, technical theatre, stage management, musical production, house direction, and box office operations. I extend my appreciation to the CAPA students, faculty, and staff for their dedication in the preparations required for these activities.

The performances are scheduled on the following dates and will be held in the A.A. Fredericks Fine Arts Auditorium:

  • Wednesday, November 29 at 7:00pm
  • Thursday, November 30 at 7:00pm
  • Friday, December 1 at 7:00pm & 9:00pm

Tickets can be purchased at www.nsu.la/Gala23, priced at $15 per person. NSU, BPCC@NSU, and LSMSA students are admitted free with a current student I.D.

Our goal is to deliver a valuable and lasting education to our students. Thousands of students, hailing from various corners of Louisiana, the region, and the world, choose NSU. In a state where there is a pressing demand for qualified and credentialed professionals, we play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between education, training, and the workforce.

Let us remain steadfast in our commitment to our mission and the promising futures awaiting our students.
