Session 3 of Freshman Connection wrapped up this week. Our interactions with future students and parents help us understand their needs and how we can best support them. I look forward to the remaining four sessions of Freshman Connection. You will find the dates and times located below.
The School of Education and the Gallaspy College of Education and Human Development are pleased to announce that the Council has fully accredited our advanced education programs for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP). The accreditation brings all programs in alignment for the next CAEP visit, which will occur in Fall 2025. The report noted no stipulations and very few suggestions for improvement. The team was very complimentary of our programs and the work accomplished at NSU. I applaud Dr. Keicia Hawkins, CAEP Coordinator, for her hard work.
NSU Men’s Basketball and Magee’s Patio Café will host “Ballin’ With The Ballers,” a meet and greet event on Monday, June 6, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Magee’s Patio Café.
I invite everyone to meet the players, have autograph opportunities, and enter to win giveaway items such as VIP seating to future Demon Games. Free ice cream will be given to the first 50 people in attendance. Contact KC Henry with NSU Men’s Basketball at khenry298679@nsula.edu.
