The State Bond Commission has approved $35,530,969 in funding for Alost Hall, an innovative academic building that will be the center of learning and collaboration at Northwestern State University. Construction is expected to commence within the next 30-60 days pending contractual agreements.
This historic approval marks an important milestone for Northwestern State University, and we extend our appreciation to our legislative delegation and Governor John Bel Edwards for their steadfast support. With this funding, we will create a cutting-edge facility that addresses the evolving needs of our students and faculty for generations to come.
Mark your calendars for NSU’s upcoming “Registration Days” on July 25th and July 27th. These sessions are specifically designed to streamline the class registration process and ensure a seamless experience for all students.
During Registration Days, you’ll have the opportunity to receive personalized support from advisors, faculty, financial aid, and admissions representatives. They will be available on-site to address any questions you may have regarding your Fall 2023 enrollment.
Students – I highly recommend registering in advance at www.nsu.la/registrationdays. Walk-up registration is available as well.
Wishing you a fantastic weekend ahead. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to me anytime.
