Yes. Although we like to support all small businesses, our goal in creating this resource is for Northwestern State alumni to have the opportunity to support their fellow Demons.
Before we post a business, we will take time to verify that it is, in fact, owned by a Northwestern State University alumnus/a. In addition, we will verify that the businesses and their brands are consistent with the missions of the University and are not in conflict with the brand of the University.
No, this is simply a list of businesses. The NSU Alumni Association is not and will not provide financial assistance to any specific businesses.
Use of the Northwestern State University name and/or registered trademarks by businesses is generally prohibited. Also, please note that the NSU Alumni Association logo, the flaming N logo and other Northwestern State University registered trademarks may not be used by external companies without permission.
